Megemlékezés – Commemoration
2019. május 29-én Budapesten a Dunán elsüllyedt a Hableány nevű sétahajó, fedélzetén 35 emberrel, – 33 dél-korei turistával és 2 fő magyar személyzettel – miután nekiütközött a Viking Sigyn szállodahajó.
A balesetnek tíz halálos áldozata van, heten túlélték a katasztrófát, 18 embert eltűntként tartanak nyilván.
2019. június 3-án, a Csíkszerda kórus szervezésében, a Margit hídon – a baleset helyszíne felett – egy flash mob keretében emlékeztek meg a baleset áldozatairól.
A közösségi oldalakon továbbított felhívásra sokan megjelentek, az „Arirang” című koreai népdallal búcsúztatták az áldozatokat.
Részvétünket fejezzük ki az áldozatok hozzátartozóinak.
On 29th May the sightseeing boat Mermaid sank in the Danube River in Budapest with 35 people on board (33 South Korean Tourists and 2 Hungarian crew members) after colliding with the cruise ship Viking Sigyn.
So far 7 people are known to have survived, while the number of dead is put at 10, with 18 passengers still missing.
On 3rd June 2019. The Csíkszerda (Stripe Wednesday) choir organised a flash mob on Margaret Bridge, directly above the site of the accident, to remember the victims.
The invitation/ call to attend was spread through social media and many people turned up to sing the traditional Korean song „Arirang” to bid farewell to the victims and express condolences to those who had lost their loved ones.
